Board of Directors
Governing body for the Center, develops policy for budgetary and personnel-related issues, standing monthly meeting. (Board members also serve as chairs and members of other committees.)
Parent Work Coordinator
Assigns initial jobs to families, keeps accurate records of work hours,
works closely with the Director and the Classroom Cleaning Reps to ensure
all families have access to available work.

Classroom Cleaning Representative
Coordinates and organizes each classroom's cleaning needs, checks work,
assigns special cleaning jobs, and does cleaning. Is liaison between
Parent Work Coordinator and parents.

Repair and Outside Work Coordinator
Responsible for organizing repair work parties, and coordinating families
for painting touch-ups, leaf-raking, playground sweeping, etc.

Special Events Coordinator
Organizes, delegates and supports Sunnyside special events. These events
include the mid-winter potluck, the spring teacher appreciation luncheon,
the Look Park picnic in June and more. Also responsible for helping the
office compile and put out a monthly calendar of events, meetings, cleaning
parties, and anything on the Sunnyside calendar.

Annual Tag Sale Coordinator
Organizes, advertises, sets up, cleans up and runs the Sunnyside Annual
Spring Tag Sale. Requires approximately 15 hours or one semester's worth
of work.

Board Meeting Child Care Provider
Cares for board member children during the once a month (3 hour) evening
board meeting in their own home or a board member's home.

Book Club Organizer
Manages Sunnyside's participation in the Scholastic book clubs, distributes
book club forms, collects payments and orders, distributes purchases,
keeps records.

Costco Shopper
Buys, delivers and unpacks paper supplies once a month. A Costco membership
is critical!

Diaper Purchaser
Monitors/shops for diapers and wipes, transports them to the Center,
unpacks and shelves them. Collects coupons from parents for diaper purchases.

Front Yard Maintainer
Sweeps and shovels the blacktop surfaces in the front yard. Requires
weekly and sometimes daily attention to removing sand and snow for safety
purposes.

Grant Researcher/Writer
A job for someone experienced or highly interested, this person will
research and write for grants to help supplement Sunnyside's budget and
purchase materials, books, and equipment.

Grocery Shopper
Buys, delivers, unpacks, and shelves supplies and groceries from the
shopping list (shared job, alternating weeks).

Historian
A new parent work job, this person will begin a scapbooking system for
the historical files of Sunnyside, as well as document through pictures
and print the social and classroom events of the coming year.

Laundry Person
Wash, dry, and fold Center's laundry. Supplies are negotiable; access
to laundry machines is critical.

Librarian
Organizes and maintains the children's library on the third floor.
Shelves books, catalogs current and new books, and repairs worn items.

Music Coordinator
Attends to the musical needs of the classrooms by generating and coordinating
projects with the teachers and enlisting the talents of Center parents.
One person is responsible for working with the teachers to schedule music
programming, while the other person is responsible for finding the talent.
